If you're just trying to get the exclusive hardcore loot as quickly and painlessly as possible, play solo normal. This will keep boss health as low as possible. With the right loadout, you will melt most bosses in under 20 seconds. This drastically reduces your chances of taking a dumb or unlucky death. Speaking of dumb or unlucky death, I Boss fights were annoying. You have the movement and stamina of a souls game but the constant ad spawn like destiny. Normal enemy encounters felt a bit too easy on account of me welding a gun. The game just kinda bounced between being tedious and annoying. I think it's definitely worth the $40 asking price. frakntoaster • 4 yr. ago. I've played dark souls 1-3, bloodbourne, the surge, sekiro, nioh, I've beaten none of them, and I think Remnant on normal difficulty level is the easiest of the bunch, which is probably why I like it the best. If you like dark souls type games but struggle with the Best Remnant: From the Ashes Traits to Pick. The best Remnant traits depend on how you want to build your character. Nonetheless, the traits I built tend to benefit everyone. The recommended traits below may look like a lot, but there are a total of 35 traits in Remnant. Here's how I built my character, and I recommend taking advantage of these I played (mostly) solo through the main campaign and clocked in about 27 hours. This is with doing some backtracking to get a good amount of the extra gear that I missed. In terms of replay value, I think that the game has plenty and when you add in multiplayer, even more. It is a must buy both solo and coop. As everyone's kinda said already, the game's great for solo play. Some enemies are harder than in co-op, due to strategies, while others are much easier, due to scaling mechanics. Absolutely. It’s pretty intense, but if you can beat any other Souls game you can beat this too. I got stuck at the Ent, so I rerolled thinking that by the time I got to the Ent again I would be stronger and beat it. But now I’m stuck at the first boss because everything scaled. Off course it’s a temporary stuckiness, when I come home from work I will defeat it with teammates, but if I knew what would happen I would not have rerolled the campaign and instead I would have joined public The new sequel to 2019's Remnant: From The Ashes does a lot of things right—and one minor, but extremely irritating, thing wrong In solo play, though, the character comments are a constant Remnant lacks charm, and gives you little reason to keep playing. More than half the game is just repeatedly running out of stamina while trying to slog through dull areas. I could perhaps endure it if there was anything to work towards; however, this is a budget game with an uninteresting story, and there's almost no meaningful character progression-- You rarely come across new gear, and it's "this game I think looks really cool is also really cheap. But I'm afraid to buy it because some strangers online said it was just ok, so now I'm gonna ask other strangers online what they think" qsDS3.
